Follow-Up Treatment
Follow-up sessions are designed to build on the progress from your first appointment. Each treatment is guided by how your body is responding — I’ll reassess movement, palpate the tissues, and adapt our plan based on any changes in symptoms, function or presentation.
Using advanced techniques such as MET to restore joint mobility, NMT to reduce neuromuscular tension, and STR to target specific restrictions, I’ll work to improve function, reduce pain, and support your recovery. Positional Release may also be used — particularly effective for calming overactive tissues and reducing pain sensitivity without force.
Treatment may include any of the following:
Positional Release to reduce pain and overactivity in sensitive tissues
STR (Soft-Tissue Release) to target local restrictions
MET (Muscle Energy Techniques) including PIR (Post Isometric Release) and RI (Reciprocal Inhibition) for restoring joint and skeletal mobility and muscular balance
NMT (Neuromuscular Technique) to address trigger points and referral patterns
Myofascial release to improve tissue glide and reduce holding patterns
Therapeutic massage to support circulation, drainage, and integration
This isn’t about repeating a routine — it’s about applying clinical reasoning and therapeutic touch to help you move, feel, and function better.
