Intelligent, hands-on treatment for pain, tension and movement issues
Combining the depth of massage with the precision of clinical Soft Tissue Therapy
If you’ve ever searched for deep tissue massage but wanted something that actually fixes the cause, this is it.
My treatments go beyond routine massage: targeted, evidence-informed, and tailored to how your body moves and responds.
I’m Rebecca Bromley, a Soft Tissue Therapist (ISRM Level 5 in training) working with clients across Bracknell, Farnham and the surrounding areas.
Soft Tissue Therapy is the clinical side of what most people think of as deep tissue work
It’s hands-on and effective, but it’s also thoughtful and responsive, designed to calm your nervous system and improve function, not just apply pressure.
Who I help
People usually find me because something hurts, feels restricted, or just isn’t moving right.
You don’t need a diagnosis, or even an injury, to benefit. You just need a body that isn’t feeling like itself.
I work with:
Desk-based professionals – dealing with persistent neck, shoulder or back tension from hours at a screen.
Runners, gym-goers and active people – managing tightness, recovery or recurring niggles that keep coming back.
Those living with chronic or post-surgical pain – who’ve tried other treatments but haven’t found lasting results.
Midlife and menopausal women – wanting calm, skilled treatment that helps their body adapt to change.
If your body feels tense, tired, or stuck in an unhelpful pattern - this work can help it move differently again.
Soft Tissue Therapy goes beyond massage
How it works
Most people think of massage as relaxation or recovery work.
Soft Tissue Therapy builds upon that foundation, applying it clinically through assessment, precision, and advanced hands-on techniques to help your body move and feel better.
It’s not about running through a routine or dividing time evenly between areas.
Every session is guided by what your body actually needs, using techniques that ease pain, restore function and calm the nervous system.
Why it’s called ‘Soft Tissue’
The term refers to your muscles, fascia and connective tissues - the soft structures that support every movement you make.
It’s not about how soft the treatment feels. The pressure can be firm, but it’s always purposeful and precise.
How Soft Tissue Therapy fits with other approaches
Soft Tissue Therapy sits neatly alongside physiotherapy, osteopathy and chiropractic care - it doesn’t compete with them.
Where those approaches often focus on joints, structure or exercise-based rehab, Soft Tissue Therapy works directly with the soft tissues that control movement and function.
It bridges the gap between strength-based rehabilitation and hands-on treatment, helping your body recover more fully and move with greater ease and less restriction.
If you’re already working with a physio, osteopath or personal trainer, Soft Tissue Therapy can complement their work beautifully - easing tightness, calming pain and making movement easier between sessions.
What to expect from your session
Every session starts with a short conversation and a few simple movement checks so I can understand what’s going on and where your body needs attention.
From there, I’ll use a mix of advanced hands-on techniques - always adapting to your comfort, your feedback, and how your body responds on the day.
This isn’t a routine you’ve had before. It’s precise, considered work that blends clinical skill with intuition and empathy.
You’ll leave with aftercare advice that makes sense for you - small, practical things to help your body keep improving between sessions.
Most appointments last around 60 minutes, and first visits include extra time for a more detailed assessment.
A clinical approach with a human touch
I founded The Arden Practice because too many people were falling through the cracks - they’d tried exercises, stretches or standard massage, but nothing ever seemed to shift.
I wanted to create a space where treatment feels thoughtful, effective and genuinely supportive - something that connects the science of movement with the art of touch.
With a background in healthcare and advanced training with the Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists (ISRM, Level 5), I blend clinical knowledge with intuitive hands-on work — calm, focused, and responsive to your body in real time.
Every session is a dialogue between your body and my hands: quiet, precise and deeply restorative.
It’s therapy that helps you feel safe enough to let go, and supported enough to change.
