Initial Consultation
&
Soft-Tissue Therapy Treatment
90 minutes - £100
What to expect
This first appointment sets the foundation for everything that follows.
It’s a detailed, one-to-one clinical session that blends assessment, treatment, and tailored advice - designed to get to the root of what’s really going on in your body.
We’ll begin with a focused conversation about what’s been happening: your symptoms, lifestyle, past injuries, and any relevant medical background. From there, I’ll carry out movement and postural assessments to understand how your body is functioning and where it’s compensating.
Once I’ve identified the areas that need attention, we’ll move straight into hands-on work.
Your treatment might include a combination of soft tissue release, neuromuscular techniques, myofascial and assisted stretching, as well as traditional deep and remedial massage - the methods are always chosen to suit your body’s specific responses on the day.
You won’t get a ‘routine massage’. Every technique is applied with purpose, adapting moment by moment to how your tissues and nervous system respond.
How it’s different
Soft Tissue Therapy isn’t about chasing symptoms or simply easing tension. It’s a clinical approach to pain, injury and movement dysfunction — combining anatomy-led precision with an understanding of how stress, posture, and daily habits all feed into the way you move and feel.
Unlike traditional sports or deep-tissue massage, this isn’t about pressure for pressure’s sake.
It’s about listening — to the tissue, the nervous system, and you — and using that information to create lasting change.
(Think of it as the difference between a quick tune-up and a full diagnostic assessment.)
Whether you’re visiting with an injury, chronic pain, or simply feel that your body isn’t moving as it should, this session lays the foundation for everything that follows.
Treatment may include:
Soft-Tissue Release (STR) to free restricted structures
Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) to restore joint range and muscular balance
Neuromuscular Techniques (NMT) to reduce trigger points and referral pain
Myofascial Release to ease tension across fascial layers
Positional Release to calm overactive tissues and reduce pain sensitivity
Massage techniques to encourage circulation, drainage, and tissue health
Because of the time and depth involved, your first appointment is priced higher than standard follow-ups. It’s an investment in getting things right from the start, and in helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually makes sense for your body.
Book Your Appointment
Your initial consultation and treatment lasts around 90 minutes and costs £100.
Follow-up sessions are typically 60 minutes.
If you’re ready to address what’s been holding you back, or if you’ve tried physio or massage before and nothing quite worked, this is where we start.
Appointments available in Bracknell and the surrounding areas.
Choose Your Atmosphere
Your session is yours to shape. Every add-on is included in the price of treatment, so you can enhance the experience however you like - without worrying about additional fees.
A typical appointment runs for around an hour and is tailored to what your body needs on the day. The focus may be on resolving pain and dysfunction, or on creating a deeply restorative, whole-body experience. Either way, the add-ons below are available to help set the right atmosphere:
Optional Add-Ons (all included in your treatment)
Heated Couch Topper - gentle, even warmth across the body that helps soften tension and makes it easier to let go.
Targeted Aromatherapy - essential oils chosen to calm, focus or refresh, depending on what you’d like from the session.
Therapeutic Soundscape - from subtle natural sounds to grounding ambient tones, the right backdrop can help settle the nervous system.
Some people prefer the treatment stripped back and clinical. Others enjoy a more sensory, immersive feel. The choice is entirely yours - you can mix and match until the session feels exactly the way you want it to
After Your Session
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what’s contributing to your symptoms and a practical plan for moving forward - whether that involves a short course of treatments or specific self-care strategies to support recovery between sessions.
My goal is to help you reach a point where your body moves freely and comfortably again, not to keep you coming back indefinitely.
