How Many Sessions Will I Need?

This is something I get asked all the time — and the honest answer is: it depends.

Some people feel a big difference after just one or two sessions. Others, especially if there’s a more complex or long-standing issue, might benefit from a short run of treatments to build some momentum and give the body the input it needs to shift.

But let me be clear: if someone’s telling you it’ll take 10 sessions before they’ve even seen you — that’s nonsense. The vast majority of injuries and pain patterns don’t require that kind of long-term plan. And anyone who’s trying to lock you into a set number of appointments before understanding what your body needs… probably isn’t listening.

I’m not here to sign you up to endless treatment. I’m here to work with you — to figure out what’s going on, what’s helping, and what makes sense for you. That might mean a single session. It might mean a few spaced out over time. It might mean some occasional check-ins after things start to settle.

At your first appointment, we’ll talk about your goals, assess how your body’s functioning, and create a plan together — with full transparency and no pressure.

Think of it as teamwork. I bring clinical knowledge and hands-on tools. You bring the insight into how your body feels and responds. Together, we decide what’s needed — and nothing more.
